Congratulations to Caring Transitions and Bita Imani-Safari on their recent partnership. Safari made her connection to Caring Transitions on May 9, 2018 through the Franchise Solutions web portal after she discovered the need for helping families move older loved ones. “I was researching franchise opportunities when I came across Caring Transitions. I understand what it takes to relocate someone, especially if you are doing it from a distance. When my mom needed to move, it was a difficult experience. We had a lot of expenses, and we finally ended up donating a lot just to get her to her next step. At the time, I thought there should be a company that can come in, handle everything and tell us what it is going to cost so we could just worry about my mom. When I found Caring Transitions, I realized it was exactly what I needed when we moved my mom. My mom is almost 80 years old, and we are very close. I was also very close with both of my grandmothers. The more I learned about Caring Transitions, the more I realized what a difference the services could make for seniors and their families,” she added.
Safari is a chemical engineer with experience in management, business and sales development. Her career over the last 10 years has encompassed roles as a Chief Administrative Officer, Regional Administrator, Human Resources Manager, Operation Manager, and Customer Care Planner and Coordinator.
“I have spent my entire career climbing the corporate ladder, which meant working a lot of hours outside of the regular work day and traveling. My daughter is 12, and I realized that, although I was in a position where I was managing more than 1,000 people, I wanted to be able to spend more time with my daughter and my husband while doing something that was fulfilling in a different way. It was time to do something different,” Safari said.
Safari’s Future Goals:
“Moving, downsizing or transitioning can be scary, especially when you’re older, but see it as an opportunity to start a bright new future in a place that’s more suited to your needs. We want to help make that process as smooth and stress-free as possible. I’m excited to bring Caring Transitions to Orange County to help seniors and families in this community,” Safari said.
In addition to running the senior care business, Safari is an active volunteer and serves on the advisory board with Moms Against Poverty (MAP). MAP is a local, non-profit organization which nurtures and educates underprivileged children which hopes to one day break the cycle of poverty. Through a variety of services and volunteer efforts, MAP focuses on improving the lives of children so one day they can contribute to society, live healthy lives and become leaders within their own communities.
