Congratulations to Valerie Butler and Ron Lockhart, newest owners of a Fibrenew franchise.
Fibrenew specializes in the repair, restoration and renewal of leather, plastics, vinyl, fabric and upholstery servicing five major markets: automotive, aviation, commercial, marine and residential. It’s a home-based, mobile business that is eco-friendly, and it’s available for a total investment of less than $90K.
Valerie and Ron came to us on September 5th and had originally requested information from Security 101 and TapSnap (a business opportunity) at Franchise Solutions. They were also interested in evaluating some IT companies. Matt Bogart, Franchise Consultant for Franchise Solutions said, “They sought some additional guidance from us to make sure they understood the ins and outs of how to objectively evaluate their opportunities in a thoughtful and thorough manner. After our discussions, they wanted to look at a few other companies that fit their interests, skill sets, and aligned better with their investment objectives. Lawn Doctor and Budget Blinds were two other recommendations for them.”
The decision to move forward was made on December 17th, with the final agreement and payments implemented prior to year end, to take advantage of 2013 pricing. The business was totally financed with a loan from a 401K.
For those potential franchisees out there who are considering owning a business and may think ‘now is not a good time’, take into account what Valerie and Ron went through. Valerie and Ron, who are from the DC area, actually moved during the process, and as one of them is a federal employee; they endured the government shutdown and still followed through with purchasing a Fibrenew franchise.
Congratulations to Fibrenew, Valerie and Ron, from all of us at Franchise Solutions. Wishing you many years of success.
