In honor of Veteran’s Day, Franchise Solutions celebrates more than 26 million American men and women who have ever worn one of our nation’s uniforms. To them, we show our appreciation and gratitude for our freedom.
Here’s a little Veteran’s Day history for you:
Veteran’s Day originated after a cease-fire agreement was made between Germany ending the four year long war in 1918. The following year, November 11th was set aside to remember the sacrifices men and women made during World War I to ensure lasting peace.
The International Franchise Association’s VetFran initiative helps returning veterans access franchise opportunities through training, financial assistance and opportunities. According to the IFA, more than 151,000 veterans and military spouses have entered franchising since 2011.
